It is perfect for drying off after a shower, bringing to the beach, and even for using as your own make-shift privacy curtain in a hostel. This towel is lightweight and compact, making it convenient and efficient to pack. It dries quickly, the material is essentially odor-free and there is a small zipper pocket in the corner, which is very convenient for hiding phones on the beach, or carrying your hostel room key. This item is at the top of my packing list every single time. The XX-Large size is large enough to be very versatile but also very compact.

The second style of packing cube I recommend is the Eagle Creek Packing Cubes. The advantage to these cubes is that they have an additional zipper to compress the cubes even flatter.
